Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.

When you use the site, we store what you create: leagues you make or join, your league invite codes, and the draft picks you make. If you're a site admin, we store the season/team/episode data you enter.

2. How we use it

Your name, email, and profile picture identify you to the friends in your leagues (e.g. showing who's in a league, who made which draft pick, and league standings). Your email also determines whether you have admin access, via an allowlist we maintain separately.

3. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. It's required for the site to work and isn't used for advertising or tracking across other sites.

4. Who we share data with

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising. Data passes through:

• Google — for sign-in (per Google's own privacy policy)
• Vercel — hosts the application
• Prisma Data Platform / Neon — hosts the database

These providers process data on our behalf to run the service; they don't use it for their own purposes.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and league data as long as your account exists. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us (below) and we'll remove it, except where we need to keep league-level historical data (like standings) that other members of a shared league still rely on — in that case we'll anonymize your personal identifiers instead of deleting the whole record.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

7. Children's privacy

DetourDraft isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
